Radford University was included on U.S. News & World Report’s individual lists this year for “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs,” “Best Online Master’s in Education Programs” and “Best Online Master of Business Administration Programs.”

Radford University students, faculty and staff celebrated the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday, Jan. 17, with a day of service throughout the Radford, Roanoke and New River Valley communities.

Gabi Richards has a passion for the outdoor environment, and it shows. From getting her feet wet in research by walking local streams in search of microscopic bugs to traveling to North America’s northernmost city to collect core ice samples in minus-20 degrees Fahrenheit temperatures, Richards has made the most of her brief time at Radford.

Brian Kitts will be among the first cohort of 20 students to graduate from Radford University with a doctorate of education degree.

Radford University will celebrate winter commencement with two ceremonies at the Dedmon Center, 101 University Dr., on Dec. 9 and 10. The ceremonies include students from Radford main campus and Radford University Carilion.

Radford University officially inaugurated Bret Danilowicz, Ph.D., as the eighth president in the 112-year history of the institution during a warm ceremony on a chilly Friday morning, Sept. 30, 2022 on the McConnell Library lawn.
