Hey folks! I grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and completed my undergraduate degree in Communication/Public Relations from Radford in 2010. After serving as an Admissions Counselor here at Radford from 2012-2014, I went on to earn a Masters of Arts degree in College Student Development & Administration from Shepherd University in 2016. Now serving as the Assistant Director, I serve our local students in the Roanoke Valley and New River Valley. Also, I primarily work on planning all of our recruitment events. This role allows me to help students/families through the admissions process and travel to parts of Virginia/East Coast that I would have never seen otherwise.

Radford is home to me. It is a comfort zone and a place that has allowed me to grow personally and professionally. I was able to gain an outstanding education and it has allowed me to realize my professional aspiration of working in higher education. The size, the people, and definitely the beauty are my favorite things. The size allows one to always meet new people but also see familiar faces. Also, the RU community is very genuinely kind and I am constantly stunned by how beautiful our surrounding Appalachian Mountains are. Between being a first year student in Washington Hall, the leadership roles I held in Student Government Association, and the amazing connections I made with lifelong friends, I have some of my best life memories from Radford.

Outside of work, I love being with friends and taking advantage of what Southwest Virginia has to offer. I have two pups who keep me busy and I am always trying to catch up on my favorite TV shows since I’m an entertainment buff.
