Radford University alumna Angela DeVore-Greene, M.S. '08, has been appointed the first director of Radford University's Disability Resources Office. She has served in the office since 1996, most recently as the coordinator for the deaf and hard of hearing.
"It humbles me greatly to know that the Radford University community values my qualifications and trusts my leadership," DeVore-Greene said. "I am eager to continue to make positive contributions to Radford University and the surrounding community."
The Disability Resources Office's role on campus is to make accommodations for students with documented disabilities. It is part of the Division of Student Affairs. The office's stated mission is "facilitating the university's goal to remove physical and learning barriers that might infringe upon the individual's opportunity to fully participate in the university experience."
