Distributed Education is the delivery of instruction to learners despite the barriers of time or space. At Radford University we use various technologies to help our instructors share their expertise and knowledge with students across the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond.
The staff at the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning is available to assist and support instructors who are teaching distributed courses. We provide instructional design consultations, technical training, and access to best practices.
Academic Outreach
Radford University extends its tradition of student-focused learning by offering undergraduate and graduate degree programs, certificates, professional development opportunities, student and faculty services at two off-campus locations; one in Roanoke, Va., and another in Abingdon, Va.
Educational opportunities are delivered using a variety of learning options ranging from traditional class delivery, synchronous connections with classrooms on our main campus to hybrid learning models which incorporate live instruction with flexible, technologically-based learning experiences.
To learn more about what Radford University makes available in your community, please contact either the Roanoke or Abingdon representative for additional information.
