RU Spring 2008 Commencement
On Saturday, May 3, 2008, Radford University will conduct its Spring Commencement ceremonies, celebrating the achievement of nearly 2,000 students. To make the day enjoyable for you and your graduate, please review this information about the weekend's activities. Graduating seniors should also go to Senior Class Page for additional information.
A joint ceremony at 10:30 a.m. will be followed by individual ceremonies for each college. The joint ceremony will begin with the processional at 10 a.m. on Moffett Field. Individual college ceremonies will take place in separate locations at noon. Graduate hooding ceremonies will be at 8 a.m. in Bondurant Auditorium. To determine the appropriate college ceremony to attend, please refer to the list of majors and programs. The major will correspond to a college and the commencement map will show the location of the individual college ceremonies of which a given major is a part.
Please note that seating for the joint ceremony and the individual ceremonies is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For the main ceremony, we suggest you arrive early. Graduates will line up at 9 a.m. and the concert band will begin at 9:30 a.m.
