Web Developer / Visual Design -I would chose this job because it has a great range of responsibilities and use of the skills I have obtained. I have worked with adobe products including the new CS4 in the past and enjoy using the programs. It would be a great experience to use a variety of skills to complete projects. I like that it requires using web design skills with hands-on coding. -It is a popular field and would want to show the company that I am a team player with an eye for detail. Enjoy taking on multiple tasks and work efficiently a fast-paced environments. -Good preparation for the job would be to refresh my Perl skills and get better acquainted with Solaris. -The challenges faced at the job would be not being familiar with content management TeamSite. Another challenge, besides location, would be the little experience I have had with the platform Solaris.	Computer Hardware Technician - I enjoy working on the hardware of computers and would enjoy a job where i fixed pcs all day. Besides having the experience with the software and OS i enjoy speaking with my clients. -I am a flexible person who could offer the company alot and have the experience needed. -I would update my resume and look over some old notes I have. -The hardest thing is the location and the stress involved with working on hardware issues. There can be all kinds of different issues and resolutions. One would have to make sure they are prepared for such a role.
WEB/FLASH/GRAPHIC DESIGN PROFESSIONAL -I would chose this job because I enjoy working with flash and work very well with Adobe CS3 programs. I have a great deal of experience using Dreamweaver. -Making sure the company sees that I am able to work on multiple projects with speed and that I have a good eye for attention to detail. This can be shown through the various jobs I have had and the many challenges I have already faced. -A good idea to obtain the job would be to gather a colletion of my work. I have recommendations and have been published in local papers which could also be put into a portfolio. -I feel like I could achieve alot in this position with the ability to be a team player while adding my own style to mix. The struggles will be not having 3+ years experience. Although I do have 2 years of using my graphic and scanning skills at the Radford Public Library. I also did photography and digital imaging enhancements for Glencoe Museum which were put on a display.	Network/Systems Administrator -I would love to work in a big company where i can set up workstations. I would be working with hardware and maintaining its setup. -I am flexible, a team player, and take time to do things right. I enjoy the hardware and network more than coding. -I do not have the required amount of ecperience that is needed and would need to brush up my networking skills. I do consider the 2 years experience at the RPL because I help fix those pc issues when I am there. They range from simple MS word problems to complex untimely shutting down of pcs. -Besides location this job would be a struggle because it has been awhile since I have set up workstations and kept a large number of pcs up to date. It would be satisfying work with the ability to explore a wide range of different tasks.
Scanner Systems Support Analyst -I enjoy scannign images and perfecting them and that is why I would chose this job. It would not be a good use of my skills and education but is a job tht could be satisfying. -The only challenge in getting this job would be that I haven't obtained my Bachelor's yet but could use my experience to help show I am qualified. -It would be a good idea to familiarize myself more with HP service center help system. Another challenge might be proving I have had 2 years experience with the required equipment. -This job could not be challenging enough and I would end up wanting to do more. Eventually I would end up wanting to branch further but it would be a good experience. Another challenge I would face would be the suggested work experience frame.
