Web Production Coms326:Good And Bad Websites

Good-Looking Creative Websites

    Blue Ridge Muse
    • I particularly like this website because it is very organized and readable. I like Doug Thompson's choice of colors and his use of images and videos.

  • Ann Taylor Loft
    • I choose this website as one of the best looking websites because the navigation bar is easily visible and the picture grabs the viewers eye, which is one of the goals website designers want to accomplish.

  • The Limited
    • The Limited is a good example of what a website should look like because it uses buttons with rollover effects that shows images relating to the following pages if you choose to click on those buttons and uses great colors to emphasizes the center picture.

Bad-Looking Websites

    Radford
    • I chose to pick Radford University as a bad-looking website not only for the non-user friendly layout but because half of the time this website does not work propertly.

  • Wikipedia
    • I particularly don't like this website due to the difficult format and the lack of colors. I feel this website developer should have included a color in the background of the main content of the page instead of just white and that they should have included more images or videos to catch the viewers attention.

  • Fabricland
    • I found this website while researching website techniques and it is one of the most hideous websites I have ever seen. I feel this designer chose the wrong color for the background and navigation bar. It also looks like the used tables to create the contents page with white backgrounds and their pictures are all blurry.

Someone needs to do some work on this page Please!!!
