About Me
Hello, Welcome to my Coms 326 Webpage. My name is Brittany Little, I am currently living with my parents in Christiansburg, Virginia. I am a junior in the College of Science and Technology at Radford University majoring in Website Development and minoring in Business Management. My Goals before graduating from Radford University is to develop a scholarship for women in the computer fields and encourage more women to get involved in technology and man ran business fields. After college I am hoping to get a job as a web developer or design for a local company. Then someday opening my own successful website company and becoming a successful business women.
I have a wonderful boyfriend for going on 5 years named Jason Wheeler. I want to thank him for always supporting me in my choice majors and always encouraging me in everything I do. Also I want to thank him for putting up with me through my stressful first two years of computer programming. I Love Him for this.
I want to thank my parents for getting me interested in website development by sending me to Radford's Summer Bridge Program, where I was able to explore a career in computers. Also for encouraging me to pursue my choice in a computer career in a man's business field.
I have had many inspiring teachers through out my college career so far and I want to thank a couple of them.
- Professor Jack Davis: for all his mentoring and advising the last 2 and half years, I also want to thank him for teaching me how to write an website from stratch using code instead of programs that do it for me and for teaching me better website structure. In my last couple of semesters, I hopeing to advance my knowledge in website development and someday become as good as you. Lastly I want to thank you for always encouraging me to stick with this field and to work harder at whatever I am trying to accomplish.
- Professor Robert Phillips: for helping me through one of the roughest times of my college career. Before going into his class, I had no idea what my major would include and after I feel like I have a good basic understanding of Visual Basic Programming and Database. In my opinion Professor Phillips is one of the best professors at Radford because no matter what problem you had, he was always willing to help.
- Professor Bob Stepno: in advance I want to thank you for improving my knowledge about Web Design and the use of mix media on the internet.
