Alumna Celebrates 99th Birthday at RU
Myra Lawrence ‘31 left the comfort of her California home recently to travel 2,200 miles to celebrate the centennial of her alma mater just as she was celebrating her 99th birthday. "I felt like I was home again," Lawrence said. Read more in the Ledger Dispatch of Jackson, Calif.

RU Leads Big South on Conference's Presidential Honor Roll
For the second consecutive year, Radford University led all Big South institutions by placing 58.3 percent of its student-athletes on the Conference’s Presidential Honor Roll.

Kristen Shifflett Continues to Earn Recognition
RU softball standout Kristen Shifflett continues to earn recognition for her 2010 campaign. The junior shortstop has been named the 2009-10 Big South Conference Female Athlete of the Year, the conference office announced last week.
