Throughout this course I have used many different tools, techniques, and processes to make my assignments look nice. Some of the tools that are used in
this course was Selection tools (magnetic lasso, lasso, magic wand, color range, filter-extract), healing tools (healing brush, spot tool, spot healing
brush, redeyetool, clone stamp tool, pattern stamp tool), color (color picker, gradient tool, paint bucket), text (text tool, bend tool, free transform tool),
web links(slice tools), cropping and straightening images (crop tool, trim, rotate arbitrary, measure tool), Special effects (bend tool, free transform,
filters, layerstyles), etc. I used the selection tools to go around the outsides of the images to use what proportions of the image that I wanted to. I used to
healing tools to make my images look better so dark spots or red eyes would be in the images. I used the color tools to make my images stand out and
I also used the text tool to give my text some nice effects.I used weblinks in my projects to link certain things to different websites. Another tool I used
throughout the semester was the crop and straightening tool to size my images and make them look better. The last tool I used was the special effects
which basically gave my images special effects.
The techinques is used throughout this class was: Image cropping, creating shapes for logos (shape tools), using Photoshop filters for
special effects and image manipulation, sizing portions of images (layers, free transform tool), special effects, calculating file size and
bandwidth (bits, bytes, kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes etc)
The techniques I used throughout this course was: Image restoration (healing tools), conversion for print (RGB to CMYK), conversion for
the web (from .PSD to .JPEG, .GIF, transparent .GIF, .PDF), embed images within an HTML document for the web (HTML code,
Dreamweaver, Photoshop), image interpolation (downrezing - decreasing resolution), changing actual image dimensions (height x width),
creating an HTML document (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, HTML), create structured directories and manage files ("H" drive, public_html
folder, assignment folders), convert images to HTML links (HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver).
