Walker Hall

Walker Hall was named for Dr. Thomas C. Walker, a pioneer leader in the early exploration and settlement of Southwest Virginia. It was built in 1935 as a dining facility, underwent expansion in 1964, then was renovated in 1992 as an academic facility. Today, Walker Hall houses offices for Academic Computing, Accounts Receivable, the Computer Help Desk, the Department of Math and Statistics, Experiential Learning and Career Services, Financial Reporting, Learning Assistance and Resource Center (LARC), New Student Programs, Parking Services, RU Express/I.D., Sponsored Programs and Grants Management, Student Accounts, Technology Center and Telephone Services, as well as classrooms and computer labs.
