Tyler Hall

Constructed in 1916 and renovated in the 1960s and again in 1993, Tyler Hall was named in honor of James Hoge Tyler, a governor of Virginia and distinguished resident of the city of Radford. Tyler Hall accommodates 166 students and several administrative offices. These include Residential Life, the Disability Resource Office, Substance Abuse/Sexual Assault Education, and the Center for Counseling and Student Development. Tyler, Norwood Hall, Washington Hall, Jefferson Hall and Madison Hall make up what is known as the Main Quadrangle on the RU campus. Tyler Hall is a smoke-free living environment.
