Reed Hall

Reed Hall, built in 1939, was the original science building of the University. It was renovated in 1995 and now houses offices, classrooms, laboratories and research space for the Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences and Physics Departments. The building is joined to Curie Hall, which was built in 1971, by crosswalks on every floor. The RU Greenhouse also is attached to Reed Hall. Reed Hall was named for Dr. Walter Reed, native Virginian and internationally acclaimed scientist and doctor.
