Peery Hall, Floyd Hall, Stuart Hall and Trinkle Hall make up what is known as the Governor's Quadrangle. These four residence halls each are named for former governors of the Commonwealth of Virginia who came from Southwest Virginia. This building houses approximately 150 students and is a smoke-free living environment. Completed in 1965, Peery Hall is named for George C. Peery, a native of Cedar Bluff in Tazewell County who was governor of Virginia from 1934 to 1938. Renovated in 2003, this building provides easy access for physically challenged students.
