Norwood Hall Norwood Hall was built in 1939 and renovated in 1986. This building, which derives its name from the estate on which the university is built, has 60 rooms housing 120 students and provides special accommodations for physically-challenged students. It has air-conditioning and is reserved for upper-class students. Norwood Hall is a smoke-free living environment.  Norwood , Tyler Hall, Washington Hall, Jefferson Hall and Madison Hall make up what is known as the Main Quadrangle on the RU campus.
