RADFORD -- Award-winning classical guitarist and RU music professor Robert Trent returns from his concert tour of South America to perform a solo concert at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Covington Recital Hall.

Trent will perform works from South America, Spain, France and Italy and works of his own composition. In addition, Trent will perform on the 10-stringed, double-necked guitar and the modern classical guitar. This concert kicks off Trent's concerts in the United States. Admission is free and open to the public.
