RADFORD – The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Radford University’s Student Support Services a $313,559 grant.

Channeled through the TRIO Programs, the grant will help fund a program designed to identify qualified individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and to prepare them to succeed in a program of post-secondary education.

RU project director is Student Support Services interim director Veronica Lewis. The grant is to be used September, 1, 2009 through August 31, 2010.
