RADFORD -- The Radford University Board of Visitors will hold its quarterly meeting September 9-10, 2009 in Martin Hall on the Radford University campus.

The third meeting of the calendar year is designated as the Annual Meeting of the Board of Visitors.

Elections will be held for the positions of rector, vice rector and non-voting Faculty Advisory member during the annual meeting.

Committee meetings will be held on Wednesday, September 9.

The Student Affairs Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in the Provost’s Conference Room in Martin Hall.

The Business Affairs Committee will meet at 11 a.m. in Martin Hall Board Room.

The Academic Affairs Committee will meet at 2 p.m. in Martin Hall Board Room.

The Governance & Administration Committee will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the President’s Conference Room in Martin Hall.

The full board will convene on Thursday, September 10 at 9 a.m. to consider the university’s FY 2010 budget and a range of academic and university issues.

The 17-member board includes 15 members who are appointed by the governor as well as a student and faculty member who are appointed by the board to serve annually as non-voting members.
