Alumnus Ratcliffe Lands Role in ABC's "Brothers and Sisters"

RADFORD -- Radford University alumnus and Franklin County, Va., native Barry Ratcliffe ‘85 was featured in the October 11 airing of ABC television’s award-winning show “Brothers and Sisters.”

Ratcliffe co-starred as an auctioneer in the episode “Almost Normal.” The storyline focused on characters Kitty, Robert and Nora and their struggles to accept Kitty’s cancer. The show features an all-star cast including Sally Field who plays the role of Nora.

Ratcliffe graduated from RU with a bachelor of arts in journalism and theatre. He has an extensive resume ranging from feature films to network and cable series, an appearance in a video by country music sensations Rascal Flatts and national ad campaigns. Most recently, he signed on as a pitchman for a new national product, Spinedok, and will be starring in a sequel film “Ultimate Death, Match 2” and a new feature film “Witches of Oz.”
