RADFORD – The much-anticipated Madrigal Dinner at Radford University is Thursday, Dec. 4-Saturday, Dec. 6, at 6 p.m. each evening, in Muse Hall Banquet Room. Ticket sales are underway at the Hurlburt Hall Box Office. Tickets for the popular Nutcracker performances on December 12 - 14 are on sale now to the RU community and go on sale December 1 for the general public.

The dinner, with music under the direction of David Otis Castonguay, is one of the most popular events in the visual and performing arts season at RU. A holiday meal can be enjoyed with the accompaniment of the university’s Madrigal Singers and other entertainment.

The Nutcracker is another highly attended event at the university and traditionally is presented to sold-out audiences. A collaboration between the Department of Dance and Department of Music, performances are in Preston Hall, Bondurant Auditorium on December 12 at 8 p.m., December 13 at 2 and 8 p.m., and December 14 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $8 general public, $4 children and free with RU I.D.

The Hurlburt Hall Box Office will be closed the week of Thanksgiving and reopens Monday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m.
