RU Alum Leads Celebration of 15 Years of Student Success

RADFORD -- RU alum Tyson Beale was this year’s keynote speaker at the Student Support Services (SSS) 15th Annual Awards Banquet on Sunday, March 22.

SSS is a federally funded program that serves students who are first-generation students, low income and/or have a documented disability. Since its inception in 1993, the program has assisted more than 2,240 students in obtaining their bachelor’s degree. The banquet acknowledged and celebrated the many accomplishments of the students in the program.
