RADFORD -- During a recent Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) induction ceremony, RU student Michael DeJarnette was named the recipient of the 2009-10 BGS Scholarship.

BGS is the international honor society serving business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The society consists of more than 400,000 alumni and is recognized throughout the business world as a leading honor society.

To become a BGS member, undergraduates must rank in the top 10 percent of their junior or senior class and graduates must rank in the top 20 percent of their class.
