The Entrepreneur’s Legal Companion,
Co-authored By RU's Dan Davidson, Released

RADFORD – Prentice Hall Publishers’ Pearson Higher Education Division has released The Entrepreneur’s Legal Companion, by Radford University Professor of Accounting, Finance and Business Law Daniel V. Davidson, as part of its nine-book Prentice Hall Entrepreneurship Series.

Daniel DavidsonThe textbook, co-authored by Davidson (right) and Dr. Lynn Forsythe of California State University-Fresno, compiles the latest research findings, issues, and trends that guide successful entrepreneurs today.

The Entrepreneur’s Legal Companion features information that will enable readers to learn how to recognize and avoid legal risks as a foundation for venture growth and success. Among the topics covered by Davidson and Forsythe in the book are: avoiding litigation; raising funds for the venture; supervising workers to reduce risks; protecting a venture's name and reputation and advance identification of risks.

Davidson, who is chair of the Department of Accounting, Finance and Business Law in RU’s College of Business and Economics (COBE), has written 11 other books, including Business Law-Principles and Cases in the Legal Environment and Business Law, Principles and Cases in the Legal Environment, Study Guide.
