RADFORD – Motivational speaker and retired football coach Herman Boone, whose inspirational story inspired the hit Disney movie “Remember the Titans,” will speak at 7 p.m. at Radford University’s Preston Hall Bondurant Auditorium on Tuesday, Feb. 3.

A viewing of “Remember the Titans” is scheduled for 5 p.m. The film and speech are free and open to the public.

As a high school football coach, Boone led his team to a state championship victory. The team’s story was captured in the Disney film that starred Academy Award-winner Denzel Washington.

The event is sponsored by RU Campus Activities Board, RU Men of Standards and RU club football.
