RADFORD – Two starry-eyed teenagers revisit young love in Radford University’s presentation of “Lovers: Winners,” a play by Irish playwright Brian Friel. Performances are at 8 p.m. nightly Wednesday - Friday, Feb. 18-20, and Saturday, Feb. 21, at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., in The Studio Theatre, Porterfield Hall.

Directed by RU senior TJ Michael Spensieri of Richmond, the story centers on lovers Mag and Joe who spend a beautiful afternoon dreaming and bickering about the promise of a future together.

The play stars junior Andy Nester of Richmond and freshman Sara Lewis of Virginia Beach. Sophomore Tripp Marcus and senior Meredith Garrison, both of Richmond, narrate.
