Brian Stanley
Assistant Director, Sports Information

Brian Stanley assumed his duties at RU on August 10, 2001. Stanley assists with all sports information and media relations efforts for Radford's 19 intercollegiate sports.

He also assists in the production of publications, website maintence as well as serving as a contact for the NCAA, regional and national media outlets.

Stanley, 25, joined Radford after serving as Media Relations Intern at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Acting as the primary contact for the field hockey, wrestling and softball at Ohio, Stanley is the main contact for RU's women's basketball program, as well as field hockey, women's soccer, track and field and tennis.

Prior to Ohio, Stanley spent one year as an assistant at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Fla. where he was the primary contact for the Spartan baseball team. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of New Haven in New Haven, CT. While earning his undergraduate degrees in management of sport industries and business administration, Stanley worked in the UNH sports information office.

Stanley in a native of Templeton, Mass. and resides in Radford.
