As a Freshman (2003-04) - Threw the shot put a distance of 44'07.50" and placed ninth at the Big South Indoor Championships… Placed 6th in the Hammer Throw and 7th in the shot put at the BSC Outdoor Championships… Earned fourth at the Tar Heel Invitational in the shot put with a distance of 45'05".

High School - Placed second (55'10.50") and third (56'01.00") in the 2003 AAA Indoor and Outdoor State Championships in the shot-put…as a junior finished fourth and second in those events respectively…tossed personal best 58'00.75" at this year's Eastern Regional Indoor meet.
