Follow all the “February Frenzy” as the RU Highlanders battle for post-season tournament seedings by tuning in to WVRU 89.9FM for live RU basketball broadcasts on the air and online. Streaming web broadcasts can be accessed at www.wvru.org and require the Realplayer streaming application.

The Highlander broadcasts feature play-by-play man Rick Watson and Aaron Barter, RU sports information director, on all RU road games. Jeff Kleppin joins Watson with the color commentary for RU home games and they are all joined by WVRU’s Jim Newberne, the Radford Sports Net in-studio host and producer.

The remaining broadcast schedule also features three regular-season Radford University women's broadcasts: Feb. 19 - RU vs Elon at 7 p.m.; Feb. 26 - RU vs. High Point at 7 p.m. and March 1 - RU vs. Liberty at 7 p.m.

WVRU will broadcast all the Highlander men’s and women’s tournament action from the Advance Auto Parts Big South Conference Championship Tournament beginning on march 5 with the quarterfinal games.
