Lexington, Va. - The Highlanders concluded day two of the Keydet Invitational on Saturday at the PIT in Cormack Field House on the VMI Post.

Sophomore, Daphne Propst placed second in the one mile event recording a time of 5:18.00 to come in behind VMI’s Ania Najda. Senior, Shannon Brown took third in the 800 meter run clocking a time of 2:36.04, while teammate Rachelle Estes placed fifth (12:30.54) in the 3000 meter run.

On the men’s side in the 3000 meter run freshman Trey Worrell placed fourth and sophomore Lucas Wright came in fifth clocking times of 9:30.00 and 9:49.17. Sophomore, Peter McCann placed eighth in the event with a time of 10:30.00.

The Highlanders will be in Blacksburg, Va. next weekend as they compete in the Virginia Tech Challenge.
