Richotte Places 10th In NCAA Hammer Throw Finals SACRAMENTO, Calif., Va. -- Radford sophomore Brian Richotte finished in 10th place in the hammer throw, eighth among the Americans at the meet, to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Championships Friday afternoon. Richotte threw 61.27 meters (201' 00") to place 10th and become the first male track and field All-American in Radford's history. He had set a RU and Big South Conference record in the preliminaries on Wednesday, throwing a 63.30m (207’ 08”). Richotte also won first place in the hammer throw at the Big South Conference outdoor championships. |
