Terry Announces 2004-05 Indoor Track and Field Schedule

RADFORD, Va.- Radford University Track and Field Coach Glenn Terry announced today the 2004-05 indoor track and field schedule. The Highlanders will compete in 11 meets this indoor season, including four meets held locally in Blacksburg, Va. (Schedule)

RU will begin its season on the road as it travels to Kent, Ohio to participate in the Golden Flash Invitational Dec. 3-4. The Highs move closer to home for their next three meets as they contend at the VMI (Dec. 3-4), Lynchburg (Dec. 10), and the Virginia Tech (Jan. 14-15) Invitationals.

After competing in Johnson City, Tenn. at the Niswonger Invitational the Highlanders travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. on Jan. 28-29 to the North Carolina Invitational.

Radford will compete in two meets, Keydet Invitational (Feb. 4-5) and the Virginia Tech Challenge (Feb. 11-12), before heading into the Big South Indoor Championships on Feb. 19 in Blacksburg, Va.

RU will compete in Blacksburg, Va. on Feb. 25-26, its final tune-up before the NCAA Championships. Qualifiers for the NCAA Indoor Championships will travel to Fayetteville, Ark. March 11-12.
