CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Radford sophomore Brian Richotte (Berkley, Mich.) was named New Balance Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week by the Big South Conference on Wednesday.

Richotte recorded a mark of 60.70 meters in the hammer throw at the Raleigh Relays over the weekend, which qualified for the NCAA Regional Championships.

He joined Coastal Carolina’s Anne Marie Moutsinga (Galati, Romania), who ran the 10,000m at the Stanford Invitational in a time of 34.41.79, which is a new personal, school and Big South record. The run was also an NCAA National Qualifying Mark and placed her 27th in the competition.
