Radford, Va. - Senior Goran Nava (Castello Di Brianza, Italy) was named Choice Hotels Big South Runner of the Week. He posted an impressive second-place performance in the George Mason Invitational, running a 25:45 in muddy conditions on a difficult course, helping the Highlanders to a second place finish.

Probably the most consistent Big South runner of the season thus far, Nava has yet to finish lower than second place overall in his first five meets, winning three of them.
