Highlanders Down Long Island

Orlando, Fla. -- Radford women’s tennis won its second straight match, defeating Long Island, 5-2, from Orlando, Fla. this afternoon. The Highlanders improve to 2-8 with the victory.

The Highlanders earned the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. Radford picked up the win when it won four of the six singles matches. Camila Noldin (Florianopolis, Brazil), Caroline Downs (Radford, Va.), Ashton Downs (Radford, Va.) and Jessica Nixon (Leesburg, Va.) picked up victories for the Highlanders.

Radford closes out it's Florida trip with a match vs. Rhode Island at 8 am tomorrow morining.
