Birmingham, Ala. - Radford’s women’s tennis team was blanked by Big South provisional member Birmingham Southern, 6-0. The doubles tandem of Jihane Najdi and Caroline Downs picked up the lone win for the Highlanders, defeating BSC’s Charlotte Kelly and Cammi Nix, 9-7.

Radford will return to the courts on Saturday, March 1 when they open up Big South competition at UNC Asheville at 10 a.m.

The men's match was postponned due to rain. They will take on the Panthers at 10 a.m. Sunday.
