RADFORD, Va. -- Radford University womens golf coach Matt Sutphin announced the signing of Dana Doganes and Stacey Brewer to National Letters of Intent.
All three players are quality students that come from outstanding families, said Sutphin. Adding All have a lot of quality junior experience, making them one of the best recruiting classes to date.
Doganes, a native of Leesport Penn., attended Schuylkill High School. As a senior Doganes finished second at the PIAA District III Tournament. In addition, she is the 2001-02 Berks County Player of the Year and the 2001 Berks Girls County Champion. Doganes is a two-time club champion at the Willow Hollow Country Club, capturing such honors in 2000 and 2001.
Brewer attended Flint Hill High School in Herndon, Va., and is ranked fourth in the state of Virginia by the Junior Scoreboard. She was a member of the International Junior Golf Tournament and carries a seven handicap at the time of the signing.
Sutphin also would like to announce that he has added transfer, Jessica Diltz from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Diltz is a native of Oswego, N.Y.
