Women's Hoops to Host Alumni Night vs. Winthrop

Radford, Va. - Radford women’s basketball will host the first annual alumni night Saturday, Feb. 5 when the Highlanders face Winthrop in Big South Conference action from the Dedmon Center.

Prior to the game, there will be a reception in Highlander Room beginning at 4:30 pm. The Highlanders will then square off with the Lady Eagles at 7 pm. At halftime of the contest, all alumni in attendance will be honored at center court.

Featured in the group of alumni is RU’s first and all-time winningest head coach Pat Barrett, the all-time leading scorer All-American Stephanie Howard, all-time rebounder Nan Milner, RU’s first 1,000 point scorer and first coach to lead them to a Big South title, Charlene Curtis and a member from the first team at Radford, Patricia Holland.
