Leading the way for Birmingham Southern (15-16) was Jenny Tomasson with 16 kills. Lindesy Hertzog added 14 and Rachael Malmborg chipped in with 11. Defensively for the Panthers, Malmborg collected a game high 20 digs.
For Radford freshman middle Divona Cox (Virginia Beach, Va.) hit .609 tallying 15 kilss in 23 attempts while committing just one error. Fellow freshman Christine German (Virginia Beach, Va.) added 10 digs and senior libero Karri Attinger (Virginia Beach, Va.) in her final game at the Dedmon Center paced the RU defense with a game high 24 digs.
The Highlanders will next close out the regular season when they travel to Liberty University on Friday, November 15 for a 7:00 p.m. match. Birmingham Southern will play at UNC Asheville on Friday and close out the season at Winthrop on Saturday, November 16.
