Men's Tennis Defeats Stony Brook, 5-2; Women Fall to Seawolves, 5-2

Radford, Va. -- Radford’s men’s tennis team (6-5) defeated Stony Brook (3-4), 5-2, while the women (2-9) fell to the Seawolves, 5-2 from Dedmon Center courts this afternoon.

In the men’s match, the Seawolves took two of three double to earn the first point of the match. The Highlanders would rally taking No. 2 through No.6 singles to pick up the victory. On the women’s side, Stony Brook (3-5) would post wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles and took four of the six single matches to earn the win over the Highlanders.

Radford’s tennis teams return to action at High Point. The women’s team will face the Panthers on March 23 at 3 pm, while the men travel to High Point on March 24 at 3 pm.
