Men's Tennis Seeded Fifth; Women Seventh for Big South Championships

Charlotte, N.C. -- Radford men’s and women’s tennis teams were seed fifth and seventh respectively for this week’s Big South Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships. The tournaments begin Thursday, April 14 on the Memorial Courts of the Winthrop Tennis Center and run through Saturday, April 16.

The men’s team (13-6 overall and 3-3 Big South) will face UNC Asheville (15-4, 3-3 Big South) at 11:30 am. The Bulldogs captured the higher seed by virtue of their match score vs. Winthrop, since the two did not meet in the regular season.The women (5-15, 1-6) will take on #2 Coastal Carolina (15-5, 6-1) at 2 pm.
