RU Men's Soccer Wins First Exhibition

RADFORD, Va. - Freshman Joseph Sansbury scored two goals to lead Radford's men's soccer team to a 2-0 unofficial win over King College Wednesday afternoon in the Highlanders' first exhibition match of the year.

Sansbury's first goal came off a cross from fellow freshman David Stannard at the 41:50 mark. Sansbury found another pass from Stannard at the 73:40 mark for the insurance goal.

The two teams played three 30-minute periods. RU will have two more exhibitions, versus James Madison (Saturday, 2:00 pm) and UNC Greensboro (Wednesday, 7:00 pm) prior to its regular season opener on Sept. 1 at Elon.
