Sokolik Named Big South Men's Soccer Co-Player-of-the-Week

RADFORD, VA. - Radford University senior Erik Sokolik was named Big South Conference Men's Soccer Co-Player-of the-Week today by the Big South Conference. He shared the award with Birmingham Southern's Nick Barcelona.

Sokolik registered a goal and two assist this wekk. He scored a goal and tallied an assist in a 4-2 over Winthrop and assisted on RU's second goal in a 3-3 tie with Birmingham Southern. That assist moved hime into a four-way tie for sixth all-time with 15.

Sokolik and the Highlanders will host the Big South Tournament that begins on Thursday, Nov. 13 at noon. Radford hits the field at 7:30 p.m. when they face Birmingham-Southern in the first round.
