ABOUT THE CAMPS

Elite campers will have a comprehensive daily schedule and more team- oriented instruction. Off the field lectures, films, and demonstration will explore and explain strategies and methods to sharpen soccer skills. The SSSC believes individual ball skills are crucial to the development of a serious soccer player. Also, Elite campers will have a chance to evaluate their own play on video. The SSSC will videotape for the purpose of further instruction.

Elite players who bring a team (club, high school) of 10 or more will receive a special rate. However, the Elite Camp will certainly accept individual applications, too. Space is limited in the Elite Camp, so it will be in the camper’s best interest to apply early.

Day soccer campers are divided into small instructional groups based on age and playing ability. All phases are covered, with emphasis on ball skills, technique and an overall understanding of defensive and offensive aspects of the game.

Highlander camp will give campers a chance to experience soccer under the lights.
