Radford Men's Golf Places Fifth at George Washington Invitational

ISSUE, Md.-- Radford men’s golf place fifth at the rain shortened 18-hole George Washington Invitational this weekend a tteh Swan Point Yacht and Country Club. The Highlanders posted a score of 308, just five shots off of tournament champion Villanova. and three shots off of three second place schools (Longwood, George Washington and IUPUI).

Radford posted three players in the top 20. Josh Meador led the Highlanders with low of 75, good for a seventh place tie. Aaron Summers and Robert Nuon each shot 77 and tied for 18th. Rounding out the Highlanders were Griffith Hunter with a 79 and Hampton Ballard shooting 87.

The Highlanders are competing at Draper Valley on April 4 and 5 in the Appalachian State Invitational.
