Men's Golf Finishes 16th At GEICO Direct Spring Invitational

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Radford University Men’s Golf Team finished in 16th place at the GEICO Direct Spring Invitational. The Highlanders posted a three-day total of 949.

Chris Clark and Chris Gentile each fired a 232 to tie for 28th and lead RU. Clark shot 80-74-78 while Genitle hit a 77-77-78.

Aaron Summers (78-78-81-237) finished tied for 54th while Chris Bagg (80-90-81-251) finished fourth for Radford, placing tied for 89th overall. Robert Noon (92-87-87-266) rounded out the Highlander finishers, 98th.

Armstrong Atlantic won the tournament, finishing with a 902. Charleston Southern (Second place-913), Liberty (Tied Seventh Place-928) and Birmingham-Southern (Tied Seventh Place-928) were the other Big South teams that competed in the tournament.
