Sunset Beach, N.C. - Radford University's Men's Golf Team placed 18th at the Sea Trail Intercollegiate on the Rees Jones Golf Course. The men fired a two-day total of 626 (319, 307). Chris Bagg led the Highlanders with a 149 (75-74), tying for 14th overall.
Davidson College won the event with a score of +12 (588), three strokes ahead of Gardner-Webb. Tim Eckberg of Western Carolina won the event, firing a two under 142, one stroke better than GWU's Steve McDonald.
Webb Donald (84-75-159), Mitch Chandler (80-79-159), Brian Gibbs (80-85-165) and Bev Holley (86-79-165) rounded out the scorecard for the Highlanders.
Radford will return to the course on October 13-14 when they travel to Chattanooga, Tenn. and the Signal Mountain Golf Club.
