Men's Golf Remains In Seventh After Day Two GREENWOOD, S.C. - Radford's men's golf team remained in seventh place after day two at the P.U.P.S. Big South Conference Men's Golf Championships at Greenwood Country Club. Chris Bagg again fired RU's best round of the day, shooting a 74, placing him tied for 13th place overall (74-74-148). Chris Clark checked in tied at 20th overall, shooting a 76-75-151 to finish second for the Highlanders. Aaron Summers was the Highlanders' number three finisher, carding a 79-78-157 to tie for 29th overall. Chris Gentile finished with an 80-80-160 to tie for 31st overall. Robert Noon rounded out RU's scoring with an 88-84-172 to finsh 34th overall. The Highlanders posted a team score of 307 on day two to move to 616 after shooting a 309 on the first day of competition. Coastal Carolina is leading the event with a team score of 576. Charleston Southern's Paul Reed shot a 71 to lead the field with a 141. The tournament will conclude Monday. The winner will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Men's Golf Tournament. |
