SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn.---Jacksonville State’s Matias Anselmo birdied the first playoff hole Tuesday to edge Radford’s Chris Clark and teammate Angel Monguzzi and claim medalist honors at the 2002 Sonic/Chattanooga Intercollegiate Golf Tournament played at Signal Mountain Country Club in Signal Mt., Tenn.

Clark, who entered the final round with a one shot lead thanks to his se3cond round six-under 65, shot a final round two-over 73 to tie for the lead following 54 holes. As a team the Highlanders, despite their final round 308, finishing eighth, in the 14 team filed with a 46 over, 898 aggregate.
