Radford University Men's Golf Ninth After Opening Round

Summerville, S.C. - Radford University men’s golf team completed the first round of the Citadel Invitational in ninth place with a 338 aggregate Monday afternoon at Pine Forest Country Club in Summerville, S.C.

Steve McDonald of Garden-Webb fired an even par-72 to lead Mohammed Hai of South Carolina State and Charles Glowacki of Flagler by one stroke. Gardner Webb (302) leads the tournament by three strokes over Flagler. Scores for the Highlanders are as follows; Webb Donald (T-31, 83), Chris Clark (T-35, 84), Chris Bagg (T-35, 84), Bev Holly (T-41, 87), Matt Dunn (T-44, 88).

The tournament will be completed tomorrow morning.
