Radford Dismisses Two From Men’s Basketball Team

RADFORD, VA. - Radford University Men’s Basketball Coach Byron Samuels announced today that B.J. Haigler and Jason Cornute have been dismissed from the team.

Haigler, a 5-8 guard from Capitol Heights, Md. started 14 of 31 games at point guard for the Highlanders last season, leading RU in assists (3.2) and steals (2.0). Cornute, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, appeared in 20 games in his first season with the program after transferring from Genesee Community College in upstate New York.
